We are hoping that today is the day! My sister has been in the hospital for like a month now with a high risk pregnancy. They did another amnio yesterday and if the numbers are up from 2 weeks ago then today between 1 and 2 we should have a new baby.
My mom has been down there since the 5th of july. She is ready to come home. Brianne is ready to get the baby out and go home. We are all ready for this baby to get here.
Its been nothing but daily phone calls to find out how things are going. Phone calls that were filled with hope, then filled with disappointment.
Today we have our hopes up again. We are hoping that the numbers for the baby's lungs are up because that means its time for our newest family member to join our crazy ass's.
Hopefully today will be the day! Hell my mom and dad are missing each other. The break for them while stressful has made them i guess appreciate each other more. My nephew said he wanted his family back the way it was and my dad said he wanted his wife back.
Sometimes my dad really surprises me! Also today we are going to keep hoping that my dad will be able to transfer to this other plant. They announced a couple weeks ago that the plant he works in is closing.
My dad found out that they are taking his machine to this other plant. While the machine is going they dont know if that means my dad will be going also. We are hoping hoping hoping beyond hoping that he will be taken with. That would be such a good thing! It was hard as hell for me to find even the little job i have now. I cant imagine trying to find work at the age my dad is!
Keeping our fingers crossed for a lot of good things!
*So i just got a phone call minutes after posting this!
My mom called and now the tests wont be done till 3 pm. Also the damned doctors down there cant get there acts together. One doctor who isnt her doctor is saying one thing and her doctor is saying another. Now the numbers that they have been telling everyone for 2 weeks have all of a sudden changed. Now instead of having to be at the level they first said, now that number is higher.
WTF?? How hard is it to make a decision. How hard is it to give a straight answer. Hell thats why you have malpractice insurance so you can give a straight answer!
Seriously, i wish my sister was at a different hospital so she could get her damned tubes tied and stop having babies. She has never had easy pregnancies and they always put our family through this kind of hell.
Seriously seriously seriously....someone give us a good answer!
