The mystery is solved! I know where the head lice came from. The mexican family at daycare brought it in.

All three of the kids had them suckers BAD. It explains though why Mae doesnt have any bugs in her hair. She picked one up at daycare and it fell off somewhere else.

While thats a really good thing, it also means i have my work cut out for me. Last night i did the chemical treatment of her hair. Then spent going on three hours working through her hair. Let me tell you that was a very very fun thing.

Today we did the mayo, ive decided though im only doing that today. Im going to keep picking through her hair and then thursday if i need to mayo her again. That girl looked like she was getting a jeri curl done lol. She did very well with the cap on for 6 hours! She only pulled it off a couple times and at the end she started messing with it.

Then it was time for more washing and picking. Mae already hates her hair messed with! She is really not a happy camper. Though im being bad mama and bribing the shit out of her with candy. Last night grandpa stayed home and gave her candy and moved lights for me.

Its amazing what just that little bit of help does. Im glad he changed his plans to stay home with us. Im 100% sure he didnt want to be home last night!

My daycare provider is pissed with the parents. I dont know how you dont know your kid is infected. I dont know how you dont check when you see that itch. Because i know those kids had to be itching. How hard is it to be a good parent and do your job and make sure your not fucking up other parents lives.

Im a good mama and im tired....Ahhh the way life should be.
